When I was packing for my family vacation to an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, I was over the moon. Let me start by saying how incredibly grateful I am for the chance to relax on a tropical beach with my loved ones. I know not everyone gets this opportunity, and by no means is this post me showing off! For me, one of the most exciting parts of any vacation is getting ready for the evening. After a long day lounging on the beach or swimming in the pool, there’s something so satisfying about putting on a cute outfit, doing my makeup, adding some jewelry, and stepping out for the night. It’s a total mood booster!
When I travel, I plan my outfits weeks in advance. I love mixing and matching dresses, skirts, and accessories, making sure I’ve got the perfect look for every single night. The first night called for something bold yet classy, and this black strapless mini dress with a floral pattern nailed the vibe. When I saw it online, it immediately screamed "tropical chic." The placement of the floral design was so flattering, and the dress hugged my body in all the right places without being uncomfortable. I paired it with my favorite Amazon heels (seriously, these are a lifesaver—comfortable and affordable) and some gorgeous gold dangly flower earrings to tie in the tropical theme. This outfit was a total showstopper! The bright, warm colors screamed tropical vacation, and the fit was as flattering as it was comfortable. If I had to pick a favorite, this one might win! I saved this dress for New Year’s Eve, and it did not disappoint. It was super comfortable to wear all night (even after indulging in some NYE desserts), and the compliments I got were nonstop. By this point, I’d caught the dreaded “DR bug” (ugh, of course), so I wanted something relaxed but still stylish. This long silk skirt paired with a square-neck top was perfect. The skirt felt soft and flowy, and walking around in it gave me such a dreamy, effortless vibe. I added my TikTok shop heels (yes, the same ones—they’re that good!) and some adorable heart earrings for a simple, polished look. Even though I wasn’t feeling 100%, this outfit still made me feel put-together.
